Congratulations to the new addition to LDTG Hội Đồng Trưởng: Tr. Tri Le, Tr. Tuyen Ta, Tr. Dung Nguyen and Tr. Viet Nguyen.  They pledged to join LDTG HDT as Hướng Đạo Sinh at  Camp Talent - Camp Trường Giang XVIII , August 30 - September 1, 2025. “The Boy Scouts of America stands for a set of principles. These principles have a lot of staying power. The values you learn as a Scout are like a compass. They can help you find your way through difficult and sometimes unchartered terrain.  The principles of Scouting give you a sense of what’s important. I feel I owe the Boy Scouts a great deal, both personally and professionally.” – Bill Bradley

LDTG leaders and parents: Tr. Binh, Tr. Chanh Hien, Tr. Kiet, chi Tra My and chi Van attended the VSC Outdoor Leadership Training from July 19-21. Dat who helped to organize and teach at the event with other VSC leaders.

Tr. Binh, Tr. Chanh Hien, Tr. Kiet and chi Tra My attended the BSLT event.  The training consists of a Scoutmaster/ASM Specific (SMS) and an Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) courses.   The event took place from 8:00am to 2:30pm on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at KW Silicon City- 2221 Oakland Road, Suite 268, San Jose, CA 95131.

Dear Cac Truongs, It's our crew honor to have Truong Chanh Hien joining the crew leadership team! He and his wife, Chi Ha Lai are the parents of Thomas (our last senior crew) and Jeff (our current crew member). Both Anh Chanh Hien and Chi Ha Lai have been active parents who volunteered and participated in our crew outdoor activities, meetings at the park, camping trips, fund raising, and the project advisor for several crew Eagle Scout candidates. We truly appreciate their contributions and dedication supporting the crews and leaders. They have done more than what we asked, and we suggested him joining the crew leadership on several occasions. But due to his work schedules and family commitments, he asked us to give him some time for the arrangement. With his will and devotion, he decided it's time to become one of our LDTG leaders. We are happy and proudly present to the LDTG our new crew leader Truong Chanh Hien!!! Please open your arms and join hands to welcome Tr. Chanh Hie...
