TNHG for volunteerws at the Children's Discovery Museum last night (6/24/2023).  The girls volunteered from 5 pm to  past 10 pm to help with the event flag ceremony and teaching the adult museum goers how to make a rocket. GSNorcal CEO Bri Seoane was very impressed with our girls and shared her gratitude to me for their excellent work.  The event was running late, and as a result, the girls had to stay later but it didn't deter them.  They used their own phone light to shine for the light and sang to bring up spirits while another GS troop quit and left early.     A lot of thanks to  Tr. Nhan  for preparing the girls with the flag ceremony and  Tr. Trang  for organizing the sign-ups with girls and parents. Also, we appreciated  the parents' support  for waiting patiently past 10pm to pick up the girls.  Your support has helped to make TNHG stronger, and Troop 60964 is being recognized up to the GSNorcal Council. ...

Appreciation Pin Award Maggie Nguyen’s ability to connect people has bridged the gap that has historically existed between Vietnamese and non-Vietnamese troops in her Service Unit. The bond between these two groups has strengthened tremendously thanks to her leadership and led to greater levels of participation and involvement than ever before. Congratulations, Maggie! President's Award The Service Unit 643 Team has collaborated with a range of outside vendors to put on unique events alongside traditional Girl Scout activities. They have also promoted older youth participation by creating an Older Girl Committee to run this year’s fall camporee. The team has given back by coordinating several Community Service Projects to provide for those in need. To make all this possible, they designated a handful of leaders to act as 'troop buddies', responsible for providing support and sharing advice between troops. In add...
