Tr. Maggie volunteered in the 2026 Golden Gate Bridging event hosted by the Girl Scouts of Northern California , which  successfully brought together thousands of Girl Scouts and their families for a memorable celebration of community and growth, highlighted by a vibrant lineup of hands-on STEM activities.

Dear Volunteers,

Thank you so much for being part of Golden Gate Bridging 2026. Your time, energy, flexibility, and dedication helped make this event such a memorable and successful experience for thousands of Girl Scouts and families.

From early morning check-ins and transportation support to bridge operations, lunch distribution, wayfinding, activity support, and helping keep everything running smoothly throughout the day — we truly could not have done this without you. Your willingness to jump in wherever needed and support participants with kindness and enthusiasm made a significant impact.

Golden Gate Bridging is such a special tradition, and it takes an incredible team effort behind the scenes to bring it to life safely and successfully. We are deeply grateful for the care, patience, and positivity you brought to the event.

On behalf of Girl Scouts of Northern California, thank you again for volunteering your time and helping to create such a meaningful experience for our Girl Scouts and community. We hope you enjoyed being part of the event and we look forward to working with you again in the future.

(Diana Ellie Annie) Animal Loves Take Action Project We are thrilled to recognize Diana, Annie & Elysa of our 2023-2024 Bronze Award team. Though they faced some unusual challenges, they persevered and made blankets and rice warmers to directly help shelter animals as well as a video to raise awareness of shelter animals. Besides the usual challenges like coordinating schedules, learning project management and time management, team members live in opposite ends of the county.
