Message from Tr. Nhan, Camp Committee's Advisor:


Good morning quy Truong, ACE Trang Doan, and scouts -

On behalf of the amazing scout camp committee this year, I would like to thank ALL Truongs and parents for a fantastic camp over this past holiday weekend. Camp Trailblazers was definitely a SUCCESS beyond our expectations, because of all of you who pitched in any way you could whether you were part of planning, set up, cooking, safety patrol, judging, or cleaning up. We appreciate all the hard work everyone did to support the scouts at this wonderful camp.

We couldn't have pulled off this camp without some superstars. I would like to give some special shoutouts to a few individual who not only did their part, but also were amazing role models for others to follow:

Tr. Denny... what can I say, we had a camp committee, but you were really the "mastermind" of this camp from rallying in support from parents to thinking of all the details, down to the tiniest detail no one had ever thought of before. You are a true scout leader since everything you did was to empower scouts and to create such a strong support system around the scouts. By the way, you elevated our camping standard to glamping with your hillside "mansion" and an amazing collection of gears. The first time we had a hi-resolution movie screen during campfire. Tr. Minh D and Tr. Lan, as always, you (literally) carried so much by taking care of major camp materials from purchasing, to storing, and hauling to and from camp. We know it takes a lot of your time and hard work well before camp starts and well after camp is over with the clean up, sorting and storing supplies.

Tr. Di has always provided guidance and support at camps and this one was no different. We appreciated Tr. Di for looking out for the overall camp disciplines, and specifically taking care of lighting, photography, and many other things.

Tr. Lang, who lead scouts to set up the key parts of the camp, the gate, the flag pole, and campfire. Everything looked very beautiful. You are the master of these skills.

Chi Van in Trang Doan for taking care of camp registration and collecting camp fees. She also was one of the head chefs at camp. She made our job much easier not having to worry about these jobs.

ALL parents in Trang Doan who cooked, served foods, set up, cleaned up, and judged scout performance for the entire camp. There were so many who worked so hard I cannot name everyone so please do know that all of us, especially the scouts, appreciate all the hard work you did. Xin thành thật cám ơn tất cả các anh chị em đã giúp cho các em và mọi người được những bữa ăn rất ngon miệng và đầy đủ.

And here's the list of key assignments and responsible units who made this camp possible. Thank you for doing your part successfully.

Crew: set up and take down flag pole, hiking, big games
Boy Scouts: set up and take down camp gate and conduct flag ceremony
Thieu Nu: camp chiefs leading camp planning and execution and organizing cooking contest for older scouts
ADST: leading fruit decoration contest for younger scouts

Dear Truongs and Parents, On behalf of BDH, I take the opportunity to thank all Truongs and parents who have been working very hard for the last couple months and made wonderful performances today! We had wonderful decorations and the people loved it; we had incredibleÁ children and adults shows that taking the breath away from the event participants; we hosted the fun games that the children enjoyed it, and we had imaging cooks and serving parents who fed us all delicious food. Without the dedication and the sacrifices that Truongs and parents had, we would not accomplish the event today. I personally appreciate the efforts and special thanks to all the leaders who organized individual groups and delivered excellent works. LDTG: 2024: Picnic at Hellyer Park

Event photos Dear Quy Truong, Parents, and Scouts, I am thrilled to announce that our picnic was a smashing success, despite the challenging weather conditions. None of it would have been possible without you - the parents, truongs, and scouts who came together to make this event one to remember. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Anh Denhi for organizing the picnic with parents, Truong Minh Doan, Truong Lan, and family for putting together the schedule and preparing the scrumptious food, parents for bringing the mouth-watering treats, drinks, and snacks, and Thieu Nu for organizing the fun games for our scouts. Not to mention, Truong Nhan, Truong Denhi and Anh Thanh were the most amazing MCs we could have asked for. Your dedication to making this picnic a success is greatly appreciated, and we couldn't have done it without every one of you.
