Aaron's Eagle Scout Project Take Action Days (April 18-19)

For his Eagle Scout Service Project, Aaron of TDCL led a team of volunteers to transform the grounds of Trung Tâm Tuệ Viên (Wisdom Garden Buddhist Center). Recognizing the need for improved accessibility and safety, he planned and executed a comprehensive road pavement and pathway enhancement project to better serve the congregation and community visitors.

• Technical Leadership: The project involved complex coordination, including clearing debris, leveling the ground, and managing the application of paving materials. Aaron oversaw the entire process, ensuring the work met safety standards and was completed efficiently.
• Team Management: Demonstrating exceptional leadership, Aaron organized and directed a team of fellow Scouts and volunteers. He effectively delegated tasks, managed equipment, and maintained a focused work environment to transform the center’s exterior.
• Community Impact: The newly paved pathways provide a safer, cleaner, and more accessible environment for the Wisdom Garden community. By stabilizing the ground and improving the outdoor infrastructure, Aaron’s project ensures the center remains welcoming for daily operations and major celebrations for years to come.

Through this project, Aaron exemplified the core Scouting values of leadership and perseverance, delivering a lasting physical improvement that leaves a meaningful legacy at Trung Tâm Tuệ Viên.
