2023 Girl Scout Friendship Day Camp 1 - November 4th at Rainbow's End














Troop 60964 joined with Troop 61679 (Lien Doan Dien Hong) for our first Friendship Day Camp at Rainbow's End on November 4th, 2023. The day camp's theme was about our founder Juliette Gordon Low and her teaching. We all had such a great time, and all leaders and scouts would like to keep this tradition yearly. Our camp girls have shown us they take Girl Scouting's principles to their hearts by how they designed their patrol flags and how they treated one another at camp.  What a true spirit of Girl Scouting!

Dear Truongs and Parents, On behalf of BDH, I take the opportunity to thank all Truongs and parents who have been working very hard for the last couple months and made wonderful performances today! We had wonderful decorations and the people loved it; we had incredibleÁ children and adults shows that taking the breath away from the event participants; we hosted the fun games that the children enjoyed it, and we had imaging cooks and serving parents who fed us all delicious food. Without the dedication and the sacrifices that Truongs and parents had, we would not accomplish the event today. I personally appreciate the efforts and special thanks to all the leaders who organized individual groups and delivered excellent works. LDTG: 2024: Picnic at Hellyer Park

Event photos Dear Quy Truong, Parents, and Scouts, I am thrilled to announce that our picnic was a smashing success, despite the challenging weather conditions. None of it would have been possible without you - the parents, truongs, and scouts who came together to make this event one to remember. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Anh Denhi for organizing the picnic with parents, Truong Minh Doan, Truong Lan, and family for putting together the schedule and preparing the scrumptious food, parents for bringing the mouth-watering treats, drinks, and snacks, and Thieu Nu for organizing the fun games for our scouts. Not to mention, Truong Nhan, Truong Denhi and Anh Thanh were the most amazing MCs we could have asked for.
